Introducing the innovative FlexDoors® system.

The eye-catching and innovative FlexDoors® system opens up to almost 90 degrees and makes getting in and out of the car easier than ever before. With this first in-segment technology, Opel has taken a major step forward in terms of rear seat access, convenience and practicality. FlexDoors® help Mom and Dad keep a better hold of children exiting the car thanks to the rear hinged rear doors. Parents can also reach into the rear seat more easily to help with buckling up. Stowing a jacket or loading objects into the back is much more convenient as well.

Get in the new Opel Meriva and the first thing you’ll notice
from your high seating position is the feeling of roominess
and comfort. The comfort seats feature best-in class length and hight adjustment to ensure the most relaxed driving position. The Opel Meriva can be equipped with a fantastic panorama sunroof that stretches over the first and second seat row. Add even more light to the friendly interior of the new Meriva and enhance the feeling of roominess.

Superior Safety.

Experience a multitude of safety features.
The Opel Meriva’s Halogen Adaptive Forward Lighting system (AFL) makes night driving safer and more relaxed by improving visibility in curves. The new Meriva is equipped with state of the art active safety features such as Electronic Stability Program (ESP), traction Control (TC), Straight Line Stability (SLS ) and Corner Stability Control (CSC). It also includes Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist System (BAS) achieves shorter braking distances under all circumstances. The new Meriva also includes Adaptive Brake Lights which effectively warn of following traffic in emergency situations. Passive safety features include driver, co-driver, side and full length curtain airbags. The Pedal Release System reduces the risk of foot and lower leg injuries in case of a severe front impact. A rigid passenger cell is combined with energy absorption zones that deform and protect in a controlled manner.

There's a full range of ECOTEC® engines for the new Opel Meriva. Economical and highly efficient, these engines deliver impressive fuel economy numbers and are still fun to drive.
The turbocharged petrol versions demonstrate the downsizing principle very convincingly. The turbocharger enables longer gear ratios which cuts fuel consumption while increasing fun
to drive. The ECOTEC® Diesel engines deliver outstanding economy together with excellent performance characteristics.
Choose from a 5 or 6 speed manual or a a 6 speed automatic transmission. All engines meet the Euro 5 emission standard.
